A new Rasmussen Reports poll smashed any GOP hope of picking up a US Senate, despite their possibilities of losing up to 5 seats. Louisiana makes the best opportunity for the GOP, given the makeup of the state, the registration advantage, and the fact that it is and has been a traditional GOP stronghold.
